The origin of our company group goes back to 1997, as KMT-Machinery Co. Ltd. was founded in Taipei / Taiwan with German capital, after taking over a small, existing local manufacturer.

For several years, KMT-Machinery developed and manufactured Blown Film Extrusion Lines as well as Bag Making Equipments based on technologies and standards available in Taiwan, successfully targeting markets in Asia, Middle-East and the new developing markets of Eastern Europe.

Kunststoff & Maschinentechnik GmbH was created in 2003 in Jesteburg / Germany, with the aim of acquiring EUROPEAN TECHNOLOGIES in order to produce machines with European Standards and Performances. Those equipments shall be sold in the most demanding markets of the world, competing with European manufacturers.

Nowadays, Kunststoff & Maschinentechnik GmbH has become the technology holder and provider for the company group. The R&D-facilities as well as the designing activities of the group are based in Magenta / Italy (KMT-Italia). There, we rely on the abilities and the knowledge of engineers who have been for decades the leading technologists of well known Italian machine builders, who had to reduce or end their activities in the past years due to excessive production costs and Asian competition.

Since 2009 we are having a strategic alliance with HCI CONVERTING EQUIPMENT Co. Ltd. from Taiwan, with a dealership for advanced converting machinery, thus completing our range of products field of activities in Western Europe.
